Is the Louisville slugger TPX Warrior alloy baseball bat -5 a good all around bat?
im getting a new bat and trying to decide on a few bats and this is one of them. i need to know everything about them including pros, cons, and anything else you can think. im looking for people to answer this that have had this bat and can give some real information that they didnt just get off the internet.

Bats do matter to some degree, but in the end they all still have to conform to the BFI or bat performing index at least the newer models do. (year 2001 and up). Some of the models are besr certified or minus 3. Which is 3 onuses less than the length of the bat. The bat you are looking at is a minus 5 and can only be used in youth leagues or adult leagues and also home run derby’s but not for college or high school. Again bats do matter to some degree, but what I see time and time again is the player (no matter what bat he uses) that hits the bomb or home run, apparently has a magical bat, because all the people that spent three to four hundred for their brand of bat, now want to use the “home run bat. It might help some, but if you can hit you can hit with any bat. The thing I like about Louisville slugger is the end of the bat is concave shape, kinda like the pros wood bats, It does seem to have a little larger sweet spot, good balance and good pop. And yes I do own this particular bat. I collect bats, because every time I strike out I go get a new bat (probably doesn’t help) but it makes me feel better. Only problem is now I have 40 plus bats laying around, I have tested alot of bats. But pretty much bats are somewhat equal especially if they are besr certified. Some people will swear by a certain bat, but in all honesty some of that may be a mental thing. The particular bat you are looking at the Louisville slugger TPX Warrior alloy baseball bat -5 is a very good bat and a good choice, not to pricey and a very durable alloy, one of the toughest in fact. Good luck with your new bat and remember don’t use it at the batting cages or if the temperature is less than 50 or 60 degrees out because it will dent when cold outside.
