Bomb Youth

So what’s with the youth today that feel the Atomic Bombing of Japan was a war crime?
Are they really that uneducated or simply ignorant of the history of the war? In other words do the even teach kids history any more?
Dear Adam, wrong but thanks for playing.
Gee Adam, I just studied History and talked to those who actually were there i.e. been there and done that. History teaches those that pay attention that the fastest way to bring a war to an end is to adversely affect the civilian population of the country you are at war with.
Try learning something useful next time junior.
Really Mr taco? And just who are these “professional historians” ? More arm chair quarterbacks is my guess.
Because the liberals own the classroom. They are anti-war, anti-nuke, etc. Many of those that teach or write curriculum now were the hippy protesters of the Vietnam war, and they propagate their views on our children.
Someone here was talking about the Hiroshima bombing as a war crime, and didn’t even know that we’d dropped millions of leaflets warning the populace to evacuate in advance of the bombing. The kid never knew.
Amazing.
EDIT: Apparently Adam B has been taught in this manner. He doesn’t know that the Japanese had military garrisons in both Hiroshima and Nagasaki, not to mention that war materiel was being built in both cities. He apparently doesn’t know about the leaflet drop, either.
