I live in the Chicago area. A few years back we had a bakery that baked hot dogs inside of a hot dog bun?
The hot dog and bun was an awesome combination. My question is does anyone know a recipe for this food type as well as how it is accomplished. I’m not talking about a bagel dog. I’m talking about a baked bread type roll (hot dog inside). Or a bakery that sells this item.
try a chinese bakery. you know roast pork buns, well, the newest thing they are doing is pigs in a blanket, hot dogs wrapped in bread dough. some places also sell them refrigerated for cheap so you can bake at home
but it’s easy. take a hot dog, get your favorite bread recipe, or some ready to bake bread dough from the supermarket, and combine.
